Driver and BIOS Download Resources:
NVIDIA® Drivers
Nvidia makes most of the video cards and motherboard chipsets in our Desktop computers
and a few of our Laptops. The nForce drivers are for motherboard chipsets. The Forceware
are for all Geforce video cards.
ASUS® Motherboard Drivers
ASUS Makes the majority of the motherboards in our Desktop systems. Here you will
find drivers for their onboard sound devices, BIOS updates, and SATA/RAID Drivers.
Creative Labs Drivers
Creative Labs makes a few of the sound cards in our systems.
Here you will find any driver to the Soundblaster Live!, Sound Blaster Audigy, and Soundblaster X-FI sound cards.
Anti-Spyware Utilities:
Windows Defender
Formerly known as Microsoft Antispyware. A very effective free tool available in beta for owners of Microsoft® Windows XP®.
Featuring 24 hour protection from malware, browser hijacking control, and nightly automatic scanning. This software
comes bundled with Vista.
Lavasoft® Ad-Aware™
A time tested spyware detection and removal tool. The free version does not allow automatic scanning or 24 hour protection
but finds some spyware/malware that the others don't.
Spy-Bot Search and Destroy
One of the oldest anti spy/malware tools still available today. Finds more and scans more scrupulously than most
anti-spyware apps out there. Useful for heavy spyware removal needs.
Other Useful Utilities:
Hi-Jack This
Hi-Jack This is a small but very useful tool for stopping and/or removing hijacker
programs such as adware search bars, Home Page hijackers and many pop-up generating plugins
that install themselves in your web browser.
Winsock Fix
Another small and useful bit of free software that fixes errors in your winsock configuration.
It fixes most client side network/internet connection issues. A recommended download for anyone
with dsl, cable, or other highspeed internet connection.
3DMark
The standard in 3D benchmarking for PC's. Test your computers 3D gaming capacity with the same
tool that Geekbox Computers uses to supply our published benchmarks. Compare your score to others
across the globe and see how your sytem stacks up.
